Hormone Replacement Therapy

Symptoms of hormone deficiency include: anxiety, difficulty sleeping, decreased libido, fatigue, memory loss, hot flashes, stubborn belly fat, muscle loss, pain with intercourse, erectile dysfunction, migraines, decrease in stamina, and weight gain.

Hormone pellets are a bioidentical form of hormone replacement. The pellets, about the size of a tic-tac, are compounded to be identical to what your body has produced your whole life. They are the safest, most effective hormone replacement method.

• Testosterone replacement assists with strength, energy, libido and the immune system.
  • Women typically receive testosterone replacement through hormone pellets, while most men will inject testosterone once or twice a week.

   

• Women, depending on age, symptoms, and lab results, may also be given estrogen and progesterone.
  • Estrogen is also dosed via bio-identical hormone pellets (as opposed to estrogen creams or oral estrogen, both of which come with health risks). The benefits of estrogen include helping with hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, mood, and bone and heart health.

Gynecology
